The site lists speciality food and drink items alongside courses as diverse as in chocolatiering and butchery.

Student Banker offers students an open and fair comparison of the student bank accounts and graduate accounts available from the UK highstreet banks, something not offered by the larger financial comparison engines. It has never been easier to find the right account for you, with the highest interest-free overdraft, the highest interest paid when in credit, the nearest branch to campus.

Banks try very hard to get students and graduates to sign up for their accounts with free extras and bonus features, but Student Banker lets students compare the important financials around the accounts.

The Blue Walrus started off in 2006 as a way for Tim Dickinson to share some of his favourite music and mixtapes of unsigned and under-appreciated bands with a wider audience. Djing at parties and making the mixtapes for road trips were no longer enough, and his passion for music spilled over onto the internet in April 2006.

The Blue Walrus has grown from these humble beginnings to a fully fledged new music portal with a small but dedicated team of staff writers who work alongside Tim in scouring gigs and the web for new talent. This has found them appreciated across the spectrum with mentions in The Guardian, interviews and profiles in The Evening Standard, shout-outs on MTV and XFM and putting on live shows themselves.

The Blue Walrus is one of the oldest and best established music blogs in the UK, taking indie and underground gems to a wider audience. Tim is also part of the Paper Cranes Collective – a collection of the best music bloggers from around the world under one banner.

AdBalance was the first foray away from music within Primitive Network, with its first iteration completed in April 2005. The site is created for web developers and web publishers with existing websites who are interested in ways to monetise their traffic and make money from their web properties.

AdBalance compares all the top and middle tier ad networks such as Casale Media and ValueClick on their CPM and CPC rates, payment terms, user interfaces, customer service and many other factors, along with in depth reviews and as such is one of the longest established and authoritative sites in the field. Each advertsing network is put through its paces by one of the reviewers, meaning that unlike many of its competitors, AdBalance gives honest and recent opinions on which ad networks are performing better than others.

Alongside the ad network reviews is a growing collection of articles describing in details new monetisation methods for publishers, as well as ways to improve the efficiency of their current setup such as by using default chains. Add to that a well researched online advertising glossary and AdBalance has become the destination for web publishers looking to make more money from their websites.

The current site was developed in-house using WordPress / PHP / MySQL / HTML / CSS

AudioMelody was the first site that I developed, starting off as Musicware way back in 1999. In the early stages AudioMelody was a simple site that just offered reviews and downloads of the growing number of freeware, shareware, and open source music software made available on the internet. Over the years the site got recognition in industry magazines such as Computer Music and Sound on Sound, and was even mentioned in a few books – all of which added to the site’s popularity peaking with about 150,000 pageviews per month.

As the site grew and we added new sections such as longer form articles and then full blown multi-chaptered tutorials from some of the best sound engineers in the business the site was constantly being redeveloped using the latest technologies. No matter of the success, we know where the heart of the site lies and that is in helping people find free tools to create music, and we have built a community around making music at the Melodic Forums.

The current site was developed in-house using WordPress / PHP / MySQL / HTML / CSS
